Summer Camp
Q: When does registration open for summer recreation programs?
A: All registration for spring and summer recreation programs and pool memberships will be available beginning February 28, 2017.
Q: What do I need to register for half day camp?
A: Pre-purchased tickets, a completed registration form with camp location and a copy of your child’s immunization record are necessary to participate in the Half Day Camp. Copy of birth certificate is required for children entering kindergarten. The camp location can not be changed after registration is completed. At the beginning of the season, the minimum number of tickets that can be purchased is 5 for $30 ($6 per ticket) per camper. The tickets are non-refundable, so please buy them in quantities that reflect your best estimate of how often your child will be attending camp. Tickets can be purchased by mail or at Town Hall throughout the summer. Tickets must be purchased at time of registration. The registration forms may be obtained at Town Hall or online and must be returned
Q: What do I need to register for full day camp?
A: A completed registration form, including Part II (which has weeks attending and fees) and a copy of your child’s immunization form must be submitted together in order to participate in the Full Day Camp. Copy of birth certificate is required for children entering first grade. This is an eight-week camp with a minimum four weeks participation required. Payment for four weeks is due at the time of registration, of which $50 is non-refundable. The remainder is due by June 2, 2017. You may call to request a payment plan. Registration for additional weeks must be added and paid for two weeks in advance. We are unable to add on additional weeks after this time frame. This camp has limited openings and registration forms may be obtained at Town Hall or online.
Fall and Winter Programs
Q: When does registration begin for Boys Winter Rec Basketball?
A: Boys Winter Rec Basketball regstration begins online, by mail and drop off on September 16th.
Q: When and where will Boys Winter Rec Basketball play?
A: Teams will play on Saturdays from November 5th - Late March. Times and Shen gym locations will be announced before the program begins.
Q: What date is tryouts for Boys Travel Basketball?
A: The high school travel tryouts will be held at Shenendehowa High School East New Gym on November 13th. Registration forms will be available for pick up starting September 16th. You must pre-register to attend the tryout.
Q: What times are tryouts for Boys Winter Travel Basketball?
A: Tryout times will be as follows on November 13th: 9th and 10th Grades - 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and 11th and 12th Grade from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Q: When is registration for Girl Winter Rec Basketball?
A: Registration begins Sept. 12th by mail or drop off form at Town Hall. Online registration begins on Sept. 16th. Evening registration will take place on Sept. 15th from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Town Hall.
Q: When do girls play in the Winter Rec Basketball program?
A: Girls Winter Rec Basketball runs from Saturday, November 5 through Saturday, March 18.
Q: Where do girls play in the Winter Rec Basketball program?
A: The program will be held in the KODA White Gym. All players regardless of grade should report to the KODA Gym on November 5.
Q: How do I know what time my daughter will play in the Winter Rec Basketball program?
A: Each participant will be notified of the time they will play via email prior to November 5. After November 5, all starting times will coincide with grade level.
Q: Whend does registration begin for Girls Winter Travel Basketball?
A: Registration begins September 12th either by mail or drop off forms at Town Hall. Evening sign up will be on September 15th from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Town Hall.
Q: When and where are tryouts for Girls Winter Rec Basketball?
A: The travel program will be holding tryouts this year on the weekend of September 24-25, 2016 at Koda Middle School.
Q: What times are tryouts for Girls Winter Rec Basketball?
A: Saturday Sept 24: 4th Grade 12:30 pm - 1:25 pm, 5th - 6th Grades 1:30 pm - 2:55 pm, 7th - 8th Grades 3:00 pm - 4:25 pm. Sunday Sept 25 - Tryout times to be announced on Sept 24th
